NUTRITION
We believe all children should have the opportunity to enjoy nature’s bounty of fresh, seasonal, natural, hormone free and local produce, free from artificial colours and flavours.
All our meals and snacks are prepared in our kitchen with an emphasis on whole foods and seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Our menu is developed in conjunction with a Health Science Professional and covers the Recommended Daily Intake of nutrients for children (RDI's), while reflecting the preferences and the cultural diversity of our families and the broader community.

5 meals/snacks are prepared and served daily at Eco Kids ELC.
Breakfast 7am-9am
Selection of Weetbix, Natural Puffed Rice, Corn Flakes, Rolled Oats and Wholemeal Fruit Toast
Morning Tea 10am
Selection of Seasonal Fruits or Yogurt with a selection of seeds, grains & dried fruit
Lunch 12-12.30pm

Afternoon Tea 3pm
Selection of Seasonal Fruits / Wholegrain crackers with Hummus & Antipasto / Children's Baking
Late Snack 5pm
Children select a piece of seasonal fruit or vegetable such as an apple, carrot or peach, to enjoy with us or on the way home.
